Kathmandu,
Feb. 5: Journalist Rohit Bhandari has come up with his second book 'Nepalmai Sakinchha'.
The
book seeks to respond to a chronic complaint that 'there is no opportunity in
the country', and presents motivating and inspiring tales of youths, who have
been involved in entrepreneurship, earned good money and lived a happy life in
Nepal.
"The
people, who don't see any opportunity in the country and keep on complaining
about it, may think the way around after reading the book. I have tried to
present that academic degree is not more important than the work you do,"
said Bhandari.
His
book includes stories of youths who rejected good opportunities in the foreign
land and took up uncommon business according to social perception here.
They
are involved in occupation such as fishery, footpath business, agriculture and
the like.
The
book has wonderful anthology of stories of post-graduate Nepalese involved in
animal husbandry, painting houses, hair dressing, tailoring, rabbit farming and
iron welding.
Bhandari
said that the Nepalese youth were leaving their homeland in search of
opportunities abroad but the tailoring, shoe industry, construction and many
other sectors have fallen short of workers of various level.
"Nepalmai Sakinchha is a book that offers
tips to the youth who want to take up their own business in Nepal. It instills
confidence in them," said journalist Rabindra Mishra.
The
book was launched jointly by entrepreneur and writer Karna Shakya, journalist
Rabindra Mishra, social worker Uttam Sanjel and manager of 'Sambhav Chha'
campaign Dilli Tuladhar at a programme in Kathmandu on Friday.
The
book is published by Jaya Kali Publication and is available at Rs. 300.
Bhandari
already has 'Sambhav Chha', another anthology of motivational stories of
Nepalese entrepreneurs, to his credit.
