Kathmandu, Sept. 17: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara Sunday said that bilateral relations between Nepal and China would be more cordial through cultural exchanges.
Addressing a programme organised by the Embassy of China in Kathmandu, he said, “Huge efforts were made to make the relations affectionate following the establishment of the Nepal-China Cultural and Educational Council.”
He said that the cultural and educational activities had also contributed to tourism development in the country.
According to him, the visit of Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang was an important event to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two neighbours.
