MBL signs agreement with IBK



Kathmandu, Nov. 3: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited has signed a remittance agreement with the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK).
The agreement facilitates the Nepali workers in South Korea to send money to their families in Nepal through the IBK branches in Korea to MBL in Nepal.
The bank in a press statement issued on Friday said that the money could be sent to MBL’s 62 branches, four extension counters and six branchless banking counters across the country.
IBK Chief Deputy General Manager (DGM) Wu Dong Ho and MBL DGM Santosh Koirala signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Nepali Ambassador to South Korea Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh inaugurated the service amidst a ceremony. 
The MBL has provided facility to Nepali migrant workers in Korea to open their account in the bank here from Korea in real time.
