Co-founder
and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the World Innovation Forum (WIF) Axel
Schultze has urged Nepali young entrepreneurs to expand their reach to the
international forums and business organisations in order to promote innovation
and technology transfer in their business.
“When you create an international network of
businesses, you can learn new ideas, problem-solving methods and
technology-based business models as well as the sources of financing,” he said
while speaking at Entrepreneurial Waves in Nepal, a workshop organised in the
pre-set of the first World Innovation Forum conference in Switzerland.
According to him, the WIF has come to Nepal to share
the experience of the forum to facilitate Nepali businessmen to reach to the
international level to seek various supports for their enterprises.
The forum is being organised as a platform to share
business and innovation ideas from around the globe.
Schultze stressed on creating network and
partnership among the entrepreneurs around the globe, sharing experiences, and
motivating each other.
Another co-founder of the WIF Marita Schultze said
that the women entrepreneurs should not copy the behavior and working style of
men but should identify the special benefits that they have and utilize them to
the maximum.
Chairman of the National Business Initiative Padma
Jyoti urged the youth to reap the benefits available at the international
forums. He said that Nepal had a conducive environment for the enterprise
development.
Former President of the Federation of Nepalese
Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Kush Kumar Joshi said that the youth
entrepreneurs should be promoted in order to create employment.
