Kathmandu, May 17: Bhatbhateni
Supermarket has launched its 16th outlet in Satdobato in Lalitpur
district. Chairman of the Bhatbhateni Group Min Bahadur Gurung inaugurated the
outlet on Friday morning.
The largest retail
chain in the country has announced 10 per cent discount on kitchenware,
readymade garment, saree, shoe-slippers, suit, electronics and cosmetics at the
new outlet as the inaugural offer.
The shopping centre
witnessed a large flow of customers on the first day of its opening.
Bhatbhateni had started
its service from Tangal in Kathmandu and expanded to Chuchchepati, Bhaktapur,
Koteshwor, Maharajgunj, Kalanki, Anamnagar, Tripureshwor, Pulchowk and Balaju
in the valley.
Similarly, Dharan,
Narayangadh, Pokhara, Butwal and Biratnagar have the outlet of the supermarket,
and the Group plans to launch similar outlets in Ithari, Nepalgunj and
Bhairahawa.
Gurung said that the
supermarket will be expanded to 25 locations within the next three years. "We have
very good feedback and consumer satisfaction wherever we have expanded the
business. It has inspired us to go to new locations," he said.
