Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has appointed Kiran
Pandit as its new spokesperson.
The Executive Director of the central bank assumed
his duties as the spokesperson from Wednesday, June 4.
Pandit joined the NRB in 2005. "He
brings extensive experience from various departments within the bank, including
the Bank Supervision Department, the Department of Regulation of Banks and
Financial Institutions, and the Financial Inclusion and Customer Protection
Division," the NRB said in a statement.
Currently, he is serving in the Payment
Systems Department.
