Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited has introduced the NIMB UnionPay Card service for its customers.
The bank said that it launched the service to expand modern payment solutions for its customers. "With the introduction of the UnionPay Card, the bank has reaffirmed its commitment to providing secure, reliable, and globally accepted card services," it said in a statement.
The card will enable customers to carry out transactions conveniently both within Nepal and abroad. It is accepted at millions of merchant outlets and ATMs worldwide for payments and online transactions, making international travel easier and more secure.
On the occasion of the official launch, the bank has announced a special introductory campaign under which a 100 per cent waiver on card fees will be provided for up to five years on both international and domestic NIMB UnionPay cards.
At present, the bank is providing banking
services through 271 branches, 259 ATMs, 65 extension counters, and 60
branchless banking units across the country.
