CIT to distribute 9% bonus share, 8.89% cash dividend

Kathmandu, July 3

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has decided to distribute 9 per cent bonus shares and 8.89 per cent cash dividend to its investors.

Twenty-sixth Annual General Meeting of the company for the Fiscal Year 2019/20 on Friday approved the proposal to distribute 9 per cent bonus shares and 8.89 per cent dividend.

In the last fiscal year, CIT earned Rs. 619.6 million of which Rs. 553.6 million is approved for distribution.

Likewise, it collected Rs. 1.72 billion and mobilised Rs. 1.71 billion in investments in the current fiscal year till mid-June.

To expand the business of the company, CIT has already launched Citizen Pension Plan and established Citizen Stock Dealer Company to develop, expand and stabilize the capital market of the country. It has also implemented web-based application.
