Kathmandu, June 30
NMB Bank has
launched NMB Sapati 2.0 for its retail loan customers in continuation of its
existing NMB Sapati product, said the bank on Wednesday.
The 24/7
loan facility is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven product which features
end to end automation wherein the entire loan process from application to
disbursement of loan is accomplished digitally without manual intervention of
any kind within five minutes.
“The loan is
available to all the secured retail loan customers of the bank who can avail
loan amount up to Rs. 200,000 without any additional collateral,” the bank said
in a statement.
Customers
have the option to select their repayment period as per their requirement and
convenience while the loan amount varies from Rs. 10,000 up to Rs. 200,000. The
loan can be availed simply through one’s mobile device and no bank visit is required.
According to
the bank, the product is envisioned and launched with the primary objective of
serving NMB’s customers with innovative, hassle-free solutions that cater to
their needs by leveraging digital technology.
NMB Sapati
2.0 is launched considering the challenges created by the COVID-19
pandemic where contingent and emergency needs frequently arise,
said the bank.
