Kathmandu, Dec. 15
The Rising Nepal daily has completed 57 years in publication
and is entering 58th year on Friday. The first broadsheet English
daily of the country was launched on December 16, 1965.
The newspaper has served the valued readers by disseminating
news and views in a fair manner for more than five and a half decades, and is
committed to continue its service in the years to come. To mark completion of
57 years of its publication, the daily has published an 8-page special
pull-out.
This daily expresses its gratitude to all the valued
readers, contributors and advertisers for their cooperation to continue its
publication with the same zeal that it enjoyed when its first issue was
published 57 years ago.
