Hemraj Dhakal is
unanimously elected the chairman of the Chandragiri Hills Limited, a tourism
and hospitality company that is operating a cable car to the Chandragiri
hilltop, a hotel, children’s park, conference hall and other facilities atop
the hill.
The 13th
Annual General Meeting of the company on Thursday elected Dhakal, who is the
founding chair of Chandragiri Hills, as its chairman. It has elected Dhakal,
Uttam Kumar Nepal, Kalyan Gurung and Dilip Shekhar Shrestha as directors for
the next four years.
During his long-stay in Malaysia,
Dhakal was impressed by the Ganting Highlands project that was built there and
envisioned Chandragiri Hills as an integrated tourism infrastructure since
2009.
The company is developing
Chandragiri hill as an integrated tourist destination by building
infrastructure such as Bhaleshwar Mahadev Temple, Sattal, View Tower,
Children's Park, Seminar Hall, Adventure Games and five-star luxury resort atop
the hill which has historical, cultural and natural importance.
