E-Sewa launches to provide health care facilities

Payment service provider company E-sewa has launched a new scheme for its customers whereby they can buy health care insurance at Rs. 360, less than Rs. 1 a day, for a year.

The company said that it has launched the scheme to provide complete health care facilities for less than one rupee a day.

It has come up with this programme in collaboration with Himalayan Everest Insurance Company.

In order to use this facility, customers have to purchase the package for Rs. 360 for one year under the E-sewa Care from the E-sewa mobile app, and they can avail many health services as well as health insurance packages and accident insurance.

Insurance of up to Rs. 230,000 can be claimed for accident treatment expenses, hospital bed charges, death and disability.

Under this policy, claims can be made for emergency treatment and medical examination, as well as fees to be paid to hospitals after injuries and accidents. This package also provides for a fixed daily allowance paid to the insured for each day of hospitalisation of more than 24 hours. Customers who purchased E-sewa Care will get health care and accidental treatment up to Rs.230,000, E-sewa Reward Points of Rs. 500 discount, 10 per cent discount at Avaran Skin and Hair Clinic, 20 per cent discount at The Beauty Bar Nepal.

Similarly, hospital bed charges up to Rs. 10,000 are covered. Likewise, death and disability expenses up to Rs. 100,000, accident medical expenses up to Rs. 100,000, funeral transport expenses up to Rs. 100,000, and funeral expenses up to Rs. 100,000 are covered.

Likewise, up to Rs. 100,000 will be paid for emergency medical coverage, any medical expenses caused by an accident, Rs. 10,000 for funeral expenses and funeral expenses of the insured in case of death.

Compensation for accidents occurring within the insured period in case of permanent total disability will be provided.

In addition, if the insurer is unable to run its business completely due to an accident leading to temporary total disability, five per cent of the insurance or an amount equivalent to Rs. 20,000 per year will be available for 26 weeks. The person who purchases this insurance package should contact Himalayan Everest Insurance within 35 days with the necessary documents to claim the insurance.
