NBL to pay 10% dividend

Kathmandu, Jan. 14

Nepal Bank Limited has decided to distribute bonus shares worth Rs. 288.1 million and cash dividend worth Rs. 1.44 billion from the profits of the last fiscal year 2021/22.

Bank's 63rd Annual General Meeting has passed the proposal of the company to issue bonus shares equal to 2 per cent of the total paid up capital of Rs. 14.4 billion and cash dividend equal to 10 per cent of it.

The AGM has also decided to increase the paid-up capital of the bank to Rs. 14.69 billion and amend the statute and bylaws of the company accordingly.
