Dr. Koirala elected as NMC president

Prof. Dr. Siddhi Prasad Koirala has been elected as the president of the Nepal Mathematics Centre (NMC).
Third Annual General Assembly of the Centre, elected 11 members of the working committee while two members will be nominated by the committee.
The AGM elected Prof. Dr. Hari Prasad Upadhyaya as the vice-president of the NMC and Nilam Subedi as the secretary while Rubha Manandhar and Bindra Devi Shakya were elected as joint-secretary and treasurer respectively.
Likewise, Prof. Dr. Lekh Nidhi Sharma, Prof. Umanath Pandeya, Dr. Gyan Bahadur Thapa, Rudra Hari Gyawali and Kaji Prasad Ghimire were elected as the members of the Centre. Immediate Past President Prof. Dr. Ram Man Shrestha will also be the part of the working committee.

The Centre aims at working to improve mathematics teaching-learning methodology and increase fellowships among the teaching faculties, informed incumbent secretary of the NMC Dr. Eka Ratna Acharya.
