Kathmandu,
Mar. 15: Toyota Rush has made its way to Muktinath in Mustang and back to the
Capital city.
In an effort to test the power,
performance and endurance of the newly arrived vehicle, the United Traders
Syndicate (UTS), the authorised distributer of Toyota in Nepal, has organised a
trip to the religious heritage site in the Himalayan district.
"Rush is new in Nepal and we
wanted to check its power and performance in all types of roads, and the new
compact SUV has proved that it can reliably approach to any destination,
including the rough terrain, at ease, safety and convenience," said Bibek
Bahadur Balami, Sales and Marketing Manager of the company.
He said that Rush surprised
themselves with its power and endurance as it went through the newly developed
track in the Kali Gandaki corridor, the road that connects China and India
border – from Thori of Parsa district to Korala in Mustang district.
The trip was named as 'Rush to
Mustang' campaign and included seven Rush cars of different colours and two
Toyota Hilux pickups. The convoy followed the
Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kushma-Beni-Ghansa-Lete-Tukuche-Jomsom-Kagbeni route to reach
the famous shrine.
After returning to Pokhara, a
promotional rally of Rush supported by other Toyota cars was organised in
Pokhara. The company said that 15 Rush SUVs were booked following the
promotional campaign.

MT, Mid AT and High AT – are available in Nepal. All these are equipped with
