FM Dr. Deuba Reaches Ottawa

 Kathmandu, Sept. 18

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, has reached Ottawa on Tuesday.

She is leading a Nepali delegation, at the invitation of her Canadian counterpart, Melanie Joly, to the Women Foreign Ministers’ Meeting being held in Toronto on 19-20 September 2024.

The meeting will be organised on 19-20 September in Toronto.

Upon her arrival at the Montréal Trudeau International Airport, Foreign Minister Dr. Deuba was received by Ambassador of Nepal, Bharat Raj Paudyal, officials of the Embassy of Nepal and the protocol officials of the Government of Canada, the Embassy informed in a statement.

FM. Dr. Deuba is set to have a bilateral meeting with Canadian FM Joly in Ottawa on Wednesday. She will also hold a meeting with Canada-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Parliament Hill.

She will also attend the National Day reception being hosted by the Embassy of Nepal in Ottawa.
