PM holds talks with Modi in New York

 Kathmandu, Sept. 23

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, has held a meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Sunday evening on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) ongoing in New York, USA.

It was a delegation-level meeting where foreign ministers and other officials of both countries were present, informed PM Oli's secretariat.

Likewise, a meeting was held today between PM Oli and his Bhutanese counterpart Daso Chiring Togbe at the office of the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the UN in New York. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, also met with Prime Minister Oli at the same venue.

In another meeting, PM Oli discussed bilateral issues with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah at the office of the Permanent Mission of Kuwait to the UN, New York.
