Job fair held

Kathmandu, Sept. 14

Phoenix College of Management, Universal College and Jobs Dynamics Pvt. Ltd. have organised a job fair with the aim of mediating the possibilities and utilisation of skills and abilities of young students.

The five-day job fair that concluded on Friday also included career grooming sessions.

Raju Tandon, coordinator of the job fair, informed that it included resume writing, interview skills, understanding the job market scenario and other job-related skill enhancement programmes.

About 30 companies from Nepal and four companies from India participated in the fair. These companies represented various sectors such as manufacturing, technology, services, trade, corporate houses and e-commerce, and provided on-campus employment and career opportunities to college students.

About 250 students participated in the programme and more than 560 real-time interviews were conducted.

According to the organisers, the job fair project has served as an important platform to strengthen coordination between industry and educational institutions. The fair provided an opportunity for students to get career, internship, and employment opportunities.
