Kathmandu, Sept. 21
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli,
leading the Nepali delegation, has reached New York, United States of America
on Saturday (Nepali date) to participate in the 79th General Assembly of the
United Nations.
Prime Minister Oli arrived in New
York at 9.45 pm local time on Friday via Doha, Qatar, PM's Secretariate
informed in a statement.
PM Oli was welcomed at John F
Kennedy International Airport in New York by Lok Bahadur Thapa, Representative
at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Kumar Raj Kharel, Acting
Ambassador of Nepali Embassy in Washington DC, Chakra Subedi, Consul General of
Nepali Consulate General in New York and other officials.
