 Kathmandu, Apr. 1

The Government of Nepal has extended its gratitude to the Government of the United Arab Emirates for the amnesty granted to 166 Nepali inmates on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan and the festival of Eid.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said that it highly valued this kind gesture of pardon based on humanitarian ground as an epitome of cordiality in the bilateral relations between Nepal and the UAE.
