Kathmandu, July 4
Throughout 2025, ActionAid International Nepal (AAIN) continued
working to advance dignity, equality, and justice of women, informal and gig
workers, survivors of violence and other marginalised communities.
The year also saw the continued implementation of its
two signature campaigns on decent work and climate justice, AAIN informed
during its 22nd national audit organised in Kathmandu on Friday.
This year’s social audit provided an opportunity to
share the impact of our collaborative work, achievements, lessons, challenges,
and financial performance of ActionAid International Nepal during 2025, said
Sujeeta Mathema, Executive Director of the organisation.
This event marked the launch of AAIN's Annual
Reflection and Learning Document (ARLD) 2025, which highlighted overall works,
collaboration and impact last year.
The document focuses on how communities across Nepal
strengthened their agency, claimed their rights, and led change in areas
including women’s rights, decent work, quality public education, climate
resilience, humanitarian response, and local governance.
