Deprez calls on Nidhi

 Kathmandu, Aug 3

Ambassador of the European Union to Nepal Nona Deprez called on Vice-President of the Nepali Congress Bimalendra Nidhi on Tuesday at the latter’s residence in New Baneshwor.

In the meeting, she said that the EU would continue to extend its support to control the COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal. She also said that the cooperation would be made for the development of Province 2, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to her, the EU desires to support Nepal in alternative energy, climate change and gender equity.

Nidhi thanked Deprez for the EU’s interest in the development of Nepal.
