Kathmandu, Aug 13
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has
conducted an interaction with Nepali missions abroad, export entrepreneurs in
Nepal and other stakeholders.
The three-day interaction held virtually from
Wednesday to Friday was organised to discuss the ways to promote Nepal’s export
trade and enhance cooperation and collaboration among the concerned agencies,
said the MoFA in a statement.
It was participated by the chiefs of Nepali
missions abroad, representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and
Supplies, Trade and Export Promotion Centre (TEPC), Federation of Export
Entrepreneurs, Nepal and various commodity associations.
According to the MoFA, they discussed the role of
the TEPC, present state of Nepal’s export trade, future targets, potential of
Nepali goods in international markets and expectations from the entrepreneurs
and government.
It said that the interaction will contribute to
increase cooperation and communication among the producers and traders.
