Kathmandu, May 13:
Indian multinational coffee brand Café Coffee Day has launched its second
outlet in Nepal in Basantapur Durbar Square.
World Bank's Nepal representative Rashid Riyan inaugurated the new outlet
recently. The café offers various coffee varieties and fast food menu.
Stavya International Pvt. Ltd. had established the first outlet of the
brand in Jawalakhel of Lalitpur district last year.
Rabi Tibrewala, Chief of the company said that Stavya had aimed to
establish Café Coffee Day as the largest coffee chain in the country in near
future.
"Coffee culture is growing rapidly in Nepal,
and we are here to offer quality coffee to the consumers," he said.
The company is planning to open new outlets at Durbar
Marga and New Baneshwor as well as in Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, Dharan and
Biratnagar.
The Café Coffee Day has more than 1,700 outlets
around the world – including India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and other
European, African and American nations.
