TAF launches digital library


Kathmandu, June 9:
The Asia Foundation has launched digital library for children with the name ‘Lets Read’.

The library bring into operation for the children from three years to 12 years of age has more than 100 books in Nepali language and more than 1000 English books. It also has books written in various mother languages.

TAF said that the books of various writers who had been creating literature for children were included in the library. The library also has audio and video materials.

Children can read the books free of cost from the library through web portal letsread or mobile application. Books can also be downloaded and can be read offline too.

TAF’s Administration and Books For Asia Chief Samira Shrestha said that the digital library will help in developing creativity in children and will reduce economic burden in the part of guardians.
