Buddha Air launches Youtube scheme to attract tourists


Kathmandu, Nov. 4:
Buddha Air has launched Everest Experience Video an initiative to promote the Himalaya Mountain Range in the national and international market.
The company aims at promoting the video through the social media networks and Youtube to attract more tourists. The video posted at Buddha Air’s Youtube Channel is viewed more than 6,000 times a day.
“We have launched the initiative targeting the peak tourist season this year. We believe that it would also support the Visit Nepal Year 2020,” said the company.
It said that mountain flights by the company are designed in a way that every passenger has a seat at the window. It is conducting mountain flights with Beachcraft 1900D, ATR42 and ATR72 which have the capacity of 18, 24 and 36 passengers respectively.
Passengers can view 8848m Everest, 8586m Kanchanjungha, 8463m Makalu, 7319m Chamlang, 6812m Amadablam, 8516m Lhotse, 7855m Nuptse, 7161m Pumori, 8210m Cho-Yu, 6957m Numbur, 7181m Melungse, 7134m Gauri Shankar, 8013m Gosainthan  and 7234m Langtan Lirung  among others during the hour-long journey.
The Buddha Air has started its air services with commercial mountain flight 21 years ago. Mountain flight is one of the most sought after tourism products in Nepal.
