LAN launches executive leadership development programme

Kathmandu, Nov. 2:
Leadership Academy Nepal (LAN) has launched Executive Leadership Development Programme 2018 in collaboration with Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business Executive Education.
“It is our flagship training programme for owners, chief executive officers and senior managers in a week-long residential programme in Nagarkot. 40 executives from banking, insurance, hospitality, telecom and other sectors have completed the programme,” said LAN.
The leadership programme aims to transform the advanced leadership and strategic management capabilities of senior business leaders in Nepal. Professors Brend Smith and Balaji Koka trained the executives.
“The collaboration with LAN and Rice Business Executive Education aims to set the benchmark as the high-skilled learning and development accelerator for Nepal and South Asia at large.
Additionally, a deliberate aim of this partnership is for LAN to serve as a hub for thought leadership related to human capital development for business leaders from this part of the world,” said Michael Koenig, Associate Dean for Innovation Initiatives and Executive Director of Executive Education at Rice business.
The focus of the programme will be on engendering contemplative leaders with strong core values and ethical standards as well as the essential knowledge and skills required to make significant contribution within their work and communities,” said Prof. Dr. Sriram Bhagut Mathe, Chairman and CEO of LAN.
