Federation of Nepalese
Chambers Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Sunrise Bank Limited have initiated
joint programme on concessional loan for women entrepreneurs.
The first programme of the
series was organised at the FNCCI Secretariat in Kathmandu on Friday. chair of
Women Entrepreneurs Development Committee at FNCCI Kamala Shrestha said that
the programme would be taken to all seven States and a booklet on the
concessional loan would also be published.
Vice President of the
FNCCI Kishor Kumar Pradhan said that the collaboration between the business
body and financial institution would help women entrepreneurs to initiate and develop
their enterprise.
"Support of the bank
and financial institution is a must for financing any business project so this
collaboration has great importance. It should be continued," he said.
Deputy Chief Executive
Office of the bank Asha Adhikari said that such programme would create
awareness among the women entrepreneurs about the concessional loan that the
government was offering to them. She urged the entrepreneurs to take benefit
from the programme.
Chiefs of Business Banking
Department and Trade Payment Department Hari Prasad Acharya and Bishnu Prasad
Upreti respectively had informed the businesswomen about the process of the
concessional loan.
