Kathmandu, Nov. 10

eSewa Money Transfer has signed a business agreement with Kuwait's remittance company UAE Exchange.

Nepali expatriates working in Kuwait can now send remittance back home to their families via 23 branches of UAE Exchange as Wallet, Cash Pickup, and Account credit transactions said the company in a statement on Tuesday.

The Cash Pickup remittance can be received from more than 8,000 paying locations of eSewa Money Transfer. This can be received via eSewa mobile app as well.

In the case of a wallet-based transaction, there is a service charge of 750 fills (100 fills = 1 Dinar) only.

Furthermore, the payment sent for deposit into a bank account of families is instantly deposited in all major banks of Nepal.

According to the company, UAE Exchange will soon integrate eSewa Money Transfer service in their online mobile app as well. This agreement with UAE Exchange has made it easier for customers to send money to Nepal.

The agreement is signed by General Manager Krishna Kumar Eacharath from UAE Exchange and Managing Director Ajesh Koirala from eSewa Money.
