NBL’s 205th branch opens in Lamahi

Kathmandu, Nov. 20

 Nepal Bank Limited has opened its 205th branch in Lamahi Municipality of Dang district.

The branch was established on the occasion of the bank's 84th anniversary on November 15.

Mayor of Lamahi Kul Bahadur Khatri and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the bank Prakash Kumar Adhikari jointly inaugurated the new branch.

With it, the bank's network is expanded to 205 branches, 38 extension counter and 132 ATMs.

Speaking on the inauguration programme, Adhikari said that the bank had launched NBL Anniversary Business Loan with 6.99 per cent interest rate.

The loan size can go up to Rs. 100 million and any business that is in operation for at least six months will be eligible for the loan facility.

The bank can invest up to 100 per cent on production or procurement cost or 80 per cent on stock or stock or receivable, it said in a statement on Thursday.

Likewise, the bank is offering free mobile banking, internet banking, demat account, mero share, CASBA and Visa debit card services.

Mayor Khatri expected that the bank would become a bank of the common people in the locality and suggested for prompt customer service.
