Kwatra calls on FM Paudel

Kathmandu, Nov. 3

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Binay Mohan Kwatra had called on Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel at his office at the Singhadurbar on Tuesday. They discussed about bilateral economic cooperation, trade and investment and control of COVID-19 pandemic, said the Ministry of Finance in a statement.

FM Paudel expressed gratitude to India for the latter’s support in the post-quake reconstruction.

Kwatra handed over a cheque of Rs. 1 billion to support private house reconstruction to FM Paudel.

“Had positive discussions to further strengthen the bilateral economic and development partnership between the two countries for mutual prosperity and progress,” he tweeted.
