Tedx to organise international event

Kathmandu, Sept. 8:

Tedx DurbarMarg, the first Nepali Tedx franchise is organising first international event on September 29 with six experts of aviation, information technology and tourism.

Speakers of the event are Captain Bijaya Lama, former Vice-President of the National Planning Commission (NPC) Dr. Swarnim Wagle, IT entrepreneurs Himal Karmacharya and Sanjaya Golchha, Everest summiteer Sumana Shakya and Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada.

Lama will talk about the aviation industry in Nepal, Dr. Wagle will talk about the country’s economy, Karmacharya and Golchha will deliver their speech on the status and growth of IT sector, and Shakya and Khatiwada will talk about tourism and development, said Sudeep Rauniar, a Tedx DurbarMarg member.

The interactive event will be attended by about 150 participants.

“We are organising this event to generate ideas which will be useful for the government and society,” he said.

According to him, the Tedx DurbarMarg tends to bring upon various key aspects of reference of current context in Nepal involving various personalities working in various fields along with the support of local audience to solve them.
