Chinese Congress Chairman arrives in Kathmandu

 Kathmandu, Sept. 11

Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China has arrived in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon leading a 67-member delegation.

The Chinese delegation has come to Nepal at the invitation of Agni Prasad Sapkota, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament, informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in a statement.

Li is on a four-day official visit to Nepal.

Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Li was accorded welcome by Speaker Sapkota, and senior officials of the Federal Parliament and MoFA.
