Pandey becomes new president of GAN

 Kathmandu, Sept. 15

The Garment Association of Nepal (GAN) has got a new leadership under the chairmanship of Pashupati Dev Pandey. He has succeeded Chandi Prasad Aryal.

The 28th Annual General Meeting of the business association has elected a 13-member executive committee for 2022-24.

According to GAN, the AGM has elected Rahul Man Shakya and Bhupendra Kumar Basnet as the first and second vice-president and Bhim Kumar Giri as the general secretary.

Likewise, Basanta Raj Adikari has been elected to the post of joint-secretary and Sanjaya Agrawal as the treasurer of the organisation while Thomnath Basyal, Krishna Prasad Pandey, Suresh Man Shrestha, Sachindra Pradhananga, Satish Giri and Hira Moktan have been elected as executive committee members.

Established in 1987, GAN is the business association of entrepreneurs and exporters engaged in readymade garments.
