Kathmandu, July 6: Speedway Cargo Pvt. Ltd. has provided an ambulance to Likhu Rural Municipality of Nuwakot district.
The company has distributed the ambulance through its subsidiary Speedway Foundation, a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) organization.
Chairman of the foundation Raju Shrestha and American citizen Martin Tunis jointly handed over the ambulance to president of Kshetrapal Community Organisation Bishnu Lal Shrestha at a programme organised at Kshetrapal Secondary School.
“The ambulance will facilitate the local people to receive fast health services,” Shrestha said.
He announced that the foundation would provide 5 ropanis of land and construct a multi-purpose training centre in the village.
The company is also constructing a boundary wall in the Kshetrapal Secondary School.
Former Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat was the chief guest of the programme.
