Do you have any idea about how many ministers should attend a programme at a time? The 19th Annual General Assembly of the Federation of Contractors' Association of Nepal held in the capital witnessed the presence of a couple of ministers, four former ministers, half a dozen state ministers and the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba himself. Almost all of them expressed their views in the programme.
What will the herd of 50 ministers do in a country that is, actually, run by the Lord Pashupatinath. They attend every programme they are invited and claim to unfold miracle in their sector without any concrete vision, policy and programmes. They find immense pleasure in ribbon-cutting and lighting lamps. It seems that as the fixed-term ministers have no jobs to complete other than waiting for the upcoming election, they want to enjoy their post and power and show the world that, at least, they are important people in this confused nation.
