Chamber reelects Shrestha as its president



Kathmandu, Jan. 12: Rajesh Kazi Shrestha has been re-elected as president of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC). 

The 67th Annual General Assembly of the NCC elected him for the second consecutive term.
The AGM also elected Rajendra Malla to the post of Senior Vice-President while Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Mahendra Man Shrestha, Deepak Kumar Malhotra, Iccha Raj Tamang, Naresh Shrestha and Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar were elected as the vice-presidents of Commerce, Industry, District/Municipal, Commodity, Associates and Honorary respectively.

According to the NCC, its organisational structure has been rearranged as per the federal structure of the country, and Parshuram Dahal, Pankaj Jalan, Krishna Man Shrestha, Pramod Shrestha, Bhimlal Poudyal, Dipendra Kumar Khatri and Prakash Saud were elected from Province 1 to 7 respectively.

The AGM also elected 41 members under various categories, and three members were nominated to the working committee.
