Kathmandu, Jan. 14:
Laxman Poudel,
correspondent of Gorkhapatra Daily in Bhairahawa of Rupandehi district is
awarded with Industrial Journalism Prize – 2073.
He received a plaque
and a purse of Rs. 25,000 in prize.
Under-secretary of the
CPN-UML Ghana Shyam Bhusal gave away the prize to Poudel at the 39th
General Assembly of Rupandehi Udhyog Sangh the other day.
The prize was jointly
established by the Rupandehi Udhyog Sangh and Federation of Nepali Journalists
(FNJ) Rupandehi about 17 years ago.
Poudel was awarded for
his reporting about the development of the industrial zones in the district.
