'Govt must stay till the completion of the parliament'

Kailali, Jan. 14:
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that the present government must stay till the parliament gets its complete form.
“No party has got majority in the elections, whom shall I leave the helm of the government for?” he said addressing Bahrarashi Makar Festival at Godavari of Kailali district.
There is no meaning in demanding the transfer of government without understanding the legal process and constitutional provisions, he added.
According to him, he was ready to leave the chair of the PM if anyone legally comes to claim the government.
“I have no desire to continue as the PM but I have an aim of conducting the elections for the National Assembly and fully implementing the constitution. The parliament will come in the complete shape after the National Assembly elections, and the new government can be formed after that,” he said.
He said that the government would announce the provincial capital and chief of the provinces within three days.
He stated that the government was trying to forge consensus among the political parties to announce the capital and the chief of the provinces but since the efforts for consensus was failed, government would announce them on its own.
