Chinese e-scooters launched

Jumbo Eco Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has launched Chinese-made Lvneng e-scooters in Nepali market. President of NADA Automobiles Association, Krishna Prasad Dulal launched the bikes on Sunday at a programme organised in the capital. The company has brought Lvneng 'X1' and 'S5' and Jambo D06 and M20.

The e-scooter can run about 80-kilometre by electricity consumption worth Rs. 15.

Company proprietor Narayan Gautam said that the bikes are competitive in terms of mileage and price.

The X1 model has 2020 watts and S5 has 3000 watts Bosch motor while D06 and M20 have 2000 watts and 1500 watts motors respectively. These motors have conversion efficiency, long life working capacity and high slope ability, claimed Gautam.

These scooters have lithium ion polymer batteries that can be charged in three hours. They also have dual battery option which doubles the distance of coverage.

Lvneng scooters have LED headlight, rear and front disc brakes, IP65 water proofing, Bluetooth, key less entry, search mode, sensor controlled system and failure indication system.

XI costs Rs. 260,000 and S5 Rs. 299,999. Likewise, D06 comes at Rs. 235,000 and M20 Rs. 185,000.
