Lalitpur, Mar. 9
Rolling Plans Private Limited has launched
rollingnexus.com, a professional networking site,
in Nepal.
Minister for Labour Employment and
Social Security Gauri Shankar Chaudhary launched the platform at a programme in
Lalitpur on Tuesday.
After six months of successful
testing, the networking site has been officially launched, along with three mobile
applications.
According to the
company, the platform has a focus on four primary areas: employment,
entrepreneurship, empowerment and engagement.
"Apart from the main 'Rolling Nexus App',
we have also launched two other mobile applications - Rolling Karmashil
Swadesh, and Rolling Karmashil Bidesh," said the company in a statement.
The word karmashil refers to the
workers who depend on skill and labor and based on the users' priority; it is
divided into modules of Swadesh
and Bidesh.
The company said that in the
Rolling Karmashil Swadesh application, skilled/unskilled workers are
facilitated with relevant information regarding jobs and different
opportunities via mobile notifications.
Similarly, individuals who wish to
freelance may look for Home 'Service', or for workers who own a vehicle may use
'Ride Sharing' work as per the order of the customers in the app.
The Rolling Karmashil Bidesh application
can be used to find reliable foreign employment opportunities, initiate
resolving problems faced during staying in a foreign land, and may avail
service for Returnee Migrant Management.
The app has modules on job,
freelance, computer adaptive test, event, discussion and market.
"We aim to provide a complete
professional networking platform so that 20 million Nepali people aged between
18 and 65 years can directly or indirectly find opportunities to pour their
productivity and creativity," said Anup Jangam, Executive Chairman of the
company.
