FNCCI to launch vision paper in 100 days

Kathmandu, Mar. 10

President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Shekhar Golchha has said that the business body would publish a vision paper on the national economy within the next 100 days.

Interacting with journalists on the occasion of the completion of 100 days in the office, he said that the preparation of the vision paper was in priority.

Likewise, activating councils, committees and forums, amendment of the statute to address the demand of all sectors and strengthening of the secretariat are the other important programmes of the new leadership, he said.

The Golchha-led working committee is also working to make the federal structure of the organisation more effective and efficient.

"The vision paper has identified 10 priority areas and 100 initiatives. There will be a separate unit to implement and monitor the paper," he said.

According to him, the paper will include the issues like development, employment generation and investment environment.

He said that the FNCCI would announce a programme to establish 50 new entrepreneurs.
