Students interact with Tarkeshwor Mayor

Students of Children Herald Academy of Tarkeshwor Municipality have interacted with Mayor Rameshwor Bohora on 'Planned urbanisation: Vision of nation-building'.

In the interaction organised at the school the other day, they asked the mayor about the planning of the municipality to manage the growing urbanisation, potential environmental and other threats, traffic management, cleaning of the rivers, sewerage management and development plan.

Mayor Bohora interacted with about 250 students for more than two hours and said that the priority of the municipality was smart and managed urban development. He also said that the local body would design some programmes that would directly benefit the kids in the locality.

The Academy had invited the students of Prithvi Narayan Secondary School as well.

Principal of the Academy Kamal Prasad Gyawali said that the school had a calendar to involve students in various creative and innovative programmes. It has received 'Best school management award 2019' from the Amity University.
