Nifra supports Snehi Kakh

Kathmandu, Mar. 5

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (Nifra) has supported Nepal Snehi Kakh, an organisation that provides care for the helpless and neglected people with Rs. 300,000 on the occasion of its third anniversary.

Chief Executive Officer of the bank Ram Krishna Khatiwada handed over the cheque bearing the amount to Neha Pokharel of the organisation on Friday. Deputy Executive Officer Bhupendra Pandey and other officials of the bank were present at the programme.

The bank has completed its two years in service.

Snehi Kakh is providing accommodation to physically and mentally challenged people, as well as stranded children, youths and senior citizens.

It provides health, education and residence facilities to them. Currently, it houses 65 such people. The money would be used in the construction of a new house, said the organisation.
