A panel of jury had
chosen him for the award on Saturday.
Humorous speech
contest and evaluation contest were also organised on the occasion.
Rujal Lal Joshi won
the humorous speech contest, and Kauslya Devi Khadka and Rahul Chokhani secured
the first and second runner up positions.
Similarly, in the evaluation
contest Asira Khanal, Sadiksha Singh and Pratistha Sapkota were the winners,
grabbing the first, second and the third positions respectively.
Toastmasters member
and first ventriloquist of Nepal Seema Golchha showcased her special stand-up
comic on the stage while Chandani Joshi, Ritu Singh Vaidya and Sumana Shrestha
expressed their views on 'Women leadership across generations'.
The discussion was
focused on various challenges being faced by women in the workplace and the
possible way-out to overcome them.
The division Director of Nepal ,
Distinguished Toastmaster Ranjit Acharya said, “We are proud to organise the
first ever all Nepal Toastmaster Conference. Almost 50 per cent members
participated and benefitted today. Learn, lead and leverage was our theme and
we are hopeful that we could deliver the same to our members”
Toastmaster is a
network in communication and leadership development. There are 14 Toastmasters'
clubs in Nepal
and have 500 members.
