Lord
Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) has launched an MBA in Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and Digital Leadership. The two new courses have been
introduced in response to the rapid advancement of AI and information
technology, as well as growing market demand, said the college.
LBEF
Chairman Engineer Pankaj Jalan said the MBA in AI and Digital Leadership
programmes have been approved by Nepal's Ministry of Education and are
affiliated with the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU).
The programmes also carry equivalency recognition from Tribhuvan University.
The Foundation has partnered with DLA Consulting to deliver the two programmes.
Jalan
said at the programme launch on Wednesday evening that AI is no longer merely a
technology of the future but has become an essential tool across banking,
business, management, data analysis, report preparation and routine office
operations.
The
Foundation also announced plans to establish a dedicated on-site AI server
laboratory. It is in the process of importing AI servers into Nepal.
With
access to the Foundation's own AI servers, students will be able to conduct
experiments, testing and practical learning, enabling them to move beyond
textbooks and online videos to gain direct experience with AI technologies.
Likewise,
DLA Consulting Founder and Chairman Suman Neupane said that the LBEF is introducing
the programmes by bringing an internationally recognised AI curriculum to
Nepal.
