Nepal Fintech to feature 65 exhibitors

Kathmandu, Aug. 9

Fintech Alliance Nepal (FAN) is set to organise the second edition of Nepal Fintech Expo from 9 to 11 October this year in Lalitpur.

This business-to-business event is expected to draw more than 6,000 visitors, it said at a press meet on Friday evening.

Following the success of the inaugural two-day expo, the 2026 edition will run for three days and will bring together domestic and international companies, banks and financial institutions, fintech firms, payment service providers, regulators, investors, technology companies, start-ups and development partners.

"The expo will feature more than 65 exhibitor booths and two experience zones showcasing emerging technologies and solutions in artificial intelligence, digital banking, digital payments, embedded finance and lending technology," said Amit Agrawal, President of FAN.

According to him, participating companies are also expected to launch or unveil new products and services during the event.

FAN said that it currently has 53 corporate members and regularly organises initiatives such as Fintech Friday and Fintech Social, as well as the CTO Retreat, to encourage collaboration, knowledge-sharing and innovation within Nepal’s fintech ecosystem.

FAN said the expo aims to serve as a platform for financial technology, innovation, collaboration and digital transformation, contributing to the development of Nepal’s digital financial ecosystem.
