Kathmandu, Sept. 26
Jagdamba Motors, a part of the Shanker Group, is set
to introduce Shacman's X5000e 6×4 Electric Tractor and X5000e 6×4 Electric Dump
Truck in Nepal, bringing electric mobility to the country’s heavy-duty
commercial vehicle segment.
"As electric vehicles continue to gain ground in
Nepal, the shift is gradually expanding beyond passenger and light commercial
vehicles. With the introduction of these two models, Jagdamba Motors aims to
bring electric solutions to industries such as logistics, construction, mining
and other heavy-load operations," the company said in a statement.
The X5000e electric tractor is designed for heavy-duty
haulage and commercial transportation, while the X5000e electric dump truck is
built for construction, mining and off-road applications. Both models feature Shacman's
electric powertrain technology and are designed to handle demanding workloads.
According to the company, both vehicles support fast
charging, giving businesses greater flexibility in managing operating time.
Their control and battery management systems are designed to support efficient
and reliable performance across different working conditions.
The introduction of these models marks Jagdamba
Motors’ entry into Nepal’s electric heavy-duty vehicle segment, as the market
continues to explore electric alternatives for commercial and industrial
transportation.
