Kathmandu, Oct. 17
Motorcycle brand QJ Motor and the Nepal
Premier League (NPL) franchise team, Lumbini Lions, have signed an associate sponsorship
agreement targeting the upcoming season of NPL.
RS Bhandari, Chairman of Highly Advanced
Motors (HAMs), and Ishwor Bahadur GC, Chairman of the Lumbini Lions, signed the
memorandum of understanding at a programme held in Kathmandu on Friday.
With this agreement, QJ Motor has
officially joined as the Associate Sponsor of the Lumbini Lions.
This collaboration is expected to promote
Nepali cricket while further strengthening the relationship between the sports
and commercial sectors. "Keeping in view the growing attraction of
spectators towards sports, this partnership will provide QJ Motor with an
opportunity to expand its brand identity among cricket enthusiasts, while also
helping to make the promotional activities of the Lumbini Lions more effective,"
said Bhandari.
The company said that this collaboration
between QJ Motor and the Lumbini Lions will open doors to new possibilities by
connecting the automobile and sports sectors together. "Through this
partnership, both organisations aim to further strengthen their business
relationship and expand a positive impact among cricket enthusiasts, customers,
and the general public," they said in a statement issued on the occasion.
