Abu Dhabi Embassy organizes interaction

Kathmandu, July 4: The Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates organized an interaction on 'Foreign Employment' in Dubai on Friday.
According to the embassy, more than 180 participants from Non Resident Nepalese Association, National Coordination Council-UAE, Nepali Business Council-Dubai, representatives from the local companies, members of Nepalese Social and other organizations, Intellectuals and journalists were present at the program.
Netra Bahadur Tandan, charge d' affairs at the embassy highlighted the UAE labour laws with the latest decrees and its expected benefits to the Nepalese migrant workers.
According to a press statement issued by the embassy Monday, counselor Bhesh Bahadur Karki spoke about the Foreign Employment Act of Nepal and its different provisions whereas second secretary Krishna Aryal presented the facts-sheet of the Nepalese in different jails of the UAE, death, its causes and trends in the UAE, Nepalese in the coma, the procedure of compensation claim and the embassy's role and documentation procedure.

Tandan and other diplomats responded to the queries of the participants in the programme.
